Dreifaltigkeitskrankenhaus Cologne, Clinic for Orthopaedics and Sports Traumatology, last position as senior physician in the clinic, accompanying lecturer in anatomy, teaching institute for nursing staff and physiotherapy at Merheim University Hospital, Cologne

Active badminton player and sports medicine care for clubs

Study visit to Beijing, China, with training in traditional Chinese medicine at the WHO Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine, graduation with diploma

2000 - 2007

Further training in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture at the Acupuncture Research Group, Düsseldorf Participation in the study to prove the effectiveness of acupuncture in orthopaedic diseases (GERAC study), which led to the inclusion of acupuncture in the benefits catalogue of the statutory health insurance funds.

2006 - 2007

Training in special pain therapy and acupuncture with recognition by the North Rhine Medical Association.


Takeover of orthopaedics, sports medicine with expansion of acupuncture in the joint practice Medizin Centrum Santanyi, Mallorca.
